The forest was moist, sun rays every now and then would be gleaming down from the canopy, and fog rested just above the ground. Up ahead at the top of a small hill, a dark figure could be seen looking as if it was walking forward. Light eyes almost white, glowed from the darkness and very slowly as the figure approached, it appeared to be a young looking woman. Black hair settled over the woman's ears and shoulders in slight curls, and a silver looking tiara settled upon the top of her dark head that had a blue crystal in the middle top of it. The fog was starting to fade as the suns rays spread out on the forest floor making it more visible; and the steps of the woman seemed much more closer. Black knee high boots moved through the grasses and soft terrain of twigs and branches, bushes and many different plant life. Continuing her walk down the small hill, a steaming hot spring was found several feet away from the woman, the soft looking pair of pink lips curled up to form a smile upon her delicate face. Her features seemed entrancing almost of such beauty just as mother nature intended for this forest to be. However a twist came through as a jagged fang was seen under her upper lip and the woman gave a light sigh in relief seeing the hot water just in her reach. As she approached it, she motioned her slender body closer while raising her right hand to the base of her corset, starting to unhook it from over her black elbow length v-necked shirt. Raising her hand upward unhooking each one as she got closer to her breasts, and undoing the last hook she held it for a moment and stood at the edge of the hot spring. Smiling she would open her fingers letting the corset fall to the ground then leaning forwards to pull down her skirt after the fly was zipped down. Her dark boots were then stripped from her legs setting them aside. The woman slowly brought her right foot up from the clothing and then forward, dipping her toes into the water to test it out first. After acknowledging the temperature, she slowly stepped in seeing how deep it was and brought her other foot down setting herself to sit at the edge for a moment. Her hands rose to her long hair and brushed her fingertips through it pulling it up into a pony tail, then wrapping it up into a tight bun then keeping it in place with a hair accessory. Afterwards, she slowly brought her hands back down to the bottom of her shirt and lifted it up and over her head, setting it on over the top of her skirt she had pulled off. The female rested herself and slowly moved in the spring noticing it wasn't that deep at all and the bottom was smooth so she rested herself, only wearing her dark undergarments.

In the dark stillness of the night, not a single leaf rustled with his quickened movements. A pen flew over the pages of a tattered notebook, one of many in his possession. Blond, scraggled locks of hair whipped about. A sudden halt brought this man to a branch high above the spa, upon which he looked down and scribbled with a few mutters.

Clothed in the purest of white, golden fringes lined his being. He was the most visible thing in the forest...yet completely unseen.. Bare toes clenched hard at the living wood, fingers directing his pen. Cracked lips muttered under faded blue eyes, which seemed to have lost a lot of their life over time.

It was obvious this man was troubled, but by what, it was unlikely he even knew...

A slim figured dressed in a silky, silver thigh length gown bolted through the dense trees surrounding the hot spring. The only real evidence of her present being that of a silver streak followed closely by a crimson figure. A sharp whistle rippled through the now quiet forest, the sound giving her ample of time to propel herself up into the air to land delicately upon a rather frail branch.

Without breaking the limb with her weight, she pressed from the tree, sending herself soaring up into the air to shift into a well practice corkscrew to bring her figure facing her assailant. A subtle snap of her hand forward sent dark needles from her finger tips out for her attacker, the male too focused on her to see the threat approaching him. A gurgled sound rippled from the male's throat as a needle sliced through the front of his windpipe, removing his ability to breath easily. The other three needles from the group penetrated his jugular on both sides of the neck, and right between the crease of two ribs to pierce through his heart and exit his back. Blood spluttering up to coat her front from the close proximity.

A couple blinks had her vision clearing as she quietly, and lightly touched back down to the ground. She tilted her head, observing the male gripping for his throat before the light drained from his eerily similar optics. "I'm sorry, brother. But you can't kill me.. Not here..Not now." Without another glance to her now deceased sibling, she pivoted and strode for the hot spring close by, the heady scent of the purified water sending a delicate mewl through her.

Bare-feet carefully navigated the terrain to carry her over items that would tell of her approach; dry leaves, branches, bushes, the like. The scratches dotting her skin in random intervals started to sting, the poison that had coated the weapon which caused them drawing her breath to short gasps as her body worked to negate the substance. She reached out to part a couple bushes, her eyes widening briefly at the appearance of a female already submerged within the water she was aimed for.

A shake of her head was her only response as she continued forward into the clearing with the spring. The light shining down upon her glinting from her gown and hair while highlighting the crimson sheen covering her figure. The strapless gown she had worn the day prior before fleeing while her family chased her down with aid of assassins and warriors was completely ruined. The form fitting fabric no longer hugging her figure as it was meant, instead dangling in ripped tatters around her.

The band that had held her hair up into a delicate twist had been snapped during her flight and retaliation, dirty blond strands a messy disray around her features in what most people would call 'sex' hair. Exhaustion and fatigue was evident upon her expression and the tension in her body, along with the obvious alert that had her glancing into the bushes surrounding her every so often, paranoia trying to gain the best of her.

Hands drifted up to grip where a section of the gown was ripped down the front of the chest area, her strapless bra seen from beneath. A light tug and the silken fabric ripped down the front from where the fabric was already worn down, on the verge of tearing on it's own. The fabric pooled down around her ankles, leaving her clad in crimson and silver undergarments; small shorts that molded to her skin along with the strapless bra.

She stalked around the curve of the hot spring to lower herself into the steaming water on the opposite side of the female. A slight hiss rippling through clenched teeth while the water around her tainted pink from the blood being washed away from the surface of her pale skin. She slid down until her chin was to the water, then dunked beneath the surface completely for a couple seconds. Ripples signaling the motion of her hands rubbing through her hair, more pink darkening the water along with a hint of dirt and debris. After a couple minutes without rising back to the surface, she finally did with a small sigh.

Fingers deftly reaching up to draw her soaked tresses into a messy bun that she managed to secure to the back of her head by tying in a knot that would easily release with the right touch, and not create knots in her hair. Her eerily bright, almost clear orbs of startling green drifted to settle on the darker female, the differences in her shading almost causing her to tense and bolt. The colorings reminded her too much of her ex fiancee, who was fueling this battle between her and her family.

She glanced up as a small, pale green orb glided into the area. A smile tugged across her lips. Even in death, her brother couldn't hate her for what she did. He only followed commands at risk to his life, which she understood completely.A single hand drifted up for the soul to settle in her hand where she brought it to rest at her chest. The necklace she wore allow the spirit to enter within and rest until the day she could restore him, or set him to rest. Whichever outcome came from this fight would seal the deal for him.

"Bloody bastards.." She murmured to herself, forgetting for a moment someone was in close proximity with her. But she ignored her slip of the tongue, while keeping her senses on high alert.

On the branch he clenched and unclenched repeatedly, soft cracks coming from the wood. This branch rested directly over the two females, although he was high enough to not be seen unless they were to look straight up. He didn't know it, but as he was writing down the geometric formulas of the structure of the spring, the branch was slowly giving in to his weight. It didn't have much longer.

Silently he scribbled in his notebook, seeming to not mind that the two females were nearly nude. He was more concerned with his math and science, poetry and history. All of which he logged in his notebooks. And now, his pen had run out of ink. He simply dropped it, letting it make it's way through the air to splash down into the water. He withdrew another, clicked it open, and began scribbling again.

Her figure tensed, she had thought she heard the scribble of something with a point against smooth parchment, but had originally assumed it was her imagination and the forest critters had been playing in the branches. Now, though, she realized the err of her mistake. The forest was unnaturally quiet except for that scratching sound.

A slight whistle of an object descending through the air had her head tilting back for her gaze to shift toward the tree in front of her. The figure in white, for this instant, didn't hold her attention but the projectile falling for her. The green of her gaze brightened as the pen froze mid-air before gliding gently down to hover at eye level.

Classifying it as harmless, she sent the object soaring to the tree, the point embedding deep within the bark. "You.." She drawled lazily, a hint of a small growl within the tone as she drew herself up out of the spring. The cuts and marks along her body an angry red from the heat of the water. A delicate push from the ground had her propelling into the branches to settle on a sturdy one above the male.

She crouched in a predatory stance, muscles tensed as she prepared herself to bolt if she needed to. A tilt of her head belying the curiosity that burned along her senses. What was he doing spying on them? Was he even spying? And what was that in his hands? A spell book? One could never be too sure now-a-days.

The only response the female received was the turn of a page, figures continuing to be scribed into his book. Several moments passed, and he would then look up at her. His eyes were a light blue, faded from the once-brilliant cobalt. A deft hand slipped into his bag, ripping a page from an indiscriminate notebook. This he handed to her, the contents of which described the tormented beauty of the un-life. A poem, written in the scribbled writings of this man.

He continued to mutter to himself as he resumed writing his formulas, voice slipping out in an upper-class British accent. Still he scribbled his notes and formulas, the tattered parchment cracking with each turn of a page. Suddenly, he winced. A foot staggered out, and his clothing shifted aside to reveal a rather vicious wound, still bleeding rather profusely. But it seems he paid no mind, writing still even as the branch below him cracked with the strain of his weight.

Amelia tilted her head to the side, shifting closer to him from her perch on the branch. Delicate fingers gripped the parchment as she gave it a once over. Her gaze drifted back to settle on him, the metallic scent of blood dousing her senses in the intoxicating aroma. "Do.. you require aid?" She murmured lowly, motioning toward the wound.

The creak of the branch echoed in her ears, but she paid no mind consciously. Without her realizing it, her hand rested upon the branch she crouched on, a soft glow emitting from her palm into the tree to bring it to a gentle glow. The branches strengthening while her energy continued to feed the tree.
